He’s listed 7 women he felt were playing a great role in the industry, including the founder of MESH, the president of Kinesis Survey Technologies, and the co-founder of NewMR.
  2. Who millennials trust, and don’t trust, is driving the new economy – Emily Badger of the Washington Post’s Wonkblog takes a closer look at why those between the ages of 18 and 24 will trust perfect strangers’ opinions on a service or item but turn their backs on “trusted’ brands.
  3. Envisioning 2025: Five technology changes that will reshape customer behavior and what they mean for customer intelligence – Ray Poynter put together another list, this time for Vision Critical, about what technologies will be changing consumer behavior in the next 10 years, including smartphones, the use of the Cloud, better wearables such as the Apple Watch, the “Internet of Things”, and personalized predictive analytics.

  5. Behavioral economics: a con? – Daniel Kahneman, author of Thinking Fast and Slow, is often hailed as a pioneering behavioral economist. He hates the term.. Writing for Research, Charles Richards of Tonic Insight looks at how much psychology and behavioral economics are almost one and the same.
  6. Marketers’ understanding of customer journey ‘no better than four years ago’ – When asked about understanding their customers’ journey, 38% of companies and agencies said they did back in 2011. But the number didn’t change in the most recent survey from ResponseTap and Econsultancy.
