Gavin Winter is SVP CEM at Vision Critical. Gavin‚Aos early career saw him rise to a senior management-level with Mercedes-Benz wholesale and retail in the United Kingdom where he led their inaugural Customer-First initiative. Following his departure he returned to Mercedes in a consultative capacity as part of the performance improvement company Maritz Europa in 1995 with whom he then helped to establish their European Research arm and then later as a Board Director of the combined Maritz.TRBI company. Gavin gained rich and deep experience in multi-national customer experience in the automotive, banking and hospitality sectors. In 2005 Gavin moved to Canada to join Synovate‚Aos Global Motoresearch Group where he helped spearhead its rapid growth to a $100m entity by 2009, again largely due to major business wins in the US and Global automotive sectors. A 2.5 year stint followed as Director and SVP of Synovate‚Aos Global Customer Experience Practice where he continued to grow the business in other industry verticals with multi-million $ studies in the Telecoms, Insurance, Banking and Hotel industries. During this time, Gavin was also responsible for Synovate‚Aos data visualization strategy and software platform partnerships. He gained a deep understanding and appreciation of the emerging value of SaaS applications in the Customer Experience space and as a consequence recently joining VisionCritical where he now heads-up business development for their CEM Enterprise-wide Feedback Management platform.
