With over 20 years in consumer insights spanning client & supplier sides, Phil is a guy who knows what it takes to move ideas through large organizations, and how to prove the value research brings to keeping the consumer truth at the heart of innovation. Client-side roles include Global Category Market Research Director (Top-400 role) at Reckitt Benckiser and Regional Market Research Manager at SC Johnson Wax. Now as Chief of Research at Winkle, Phil works closely with clients as well as in training the team, overseeing quality and excellence, and developing proprietary IP, all in the name of delivering high impact research to accelerate business growth. Successes span brand strategy, positioning/communication and product innovations. Phil has long been fascinated by the study of human behaviour and is an honours graduate in Psychology from the University of Hull. To get his juices flowing, Phil enjoys walking in the Chiltern Hills with Basil and Parsley, his Golden Retrievers, discovering new music, or enjoying his garden.
